If the amount of time working solely determined your grades...
If exam/coursework marks were only based on this instead of how efficiently you absorb information or how good your memory is what difference do you think it would make to your grades?

By work you mean more revising, or more time given to do a test ?

I would have done terrible at subjects that I'm good at, like physics and music, because I didn't really have to spend much time on them.

Would have done good in English though, I spent ages on it because I knew I was terrible at it. Overall I would have done much worse if it was just based on time spent working

I would now refill supermarket shelves with the prospect of doing that the next 50 years instead of studying Psychology at uni. Hell I'm lazy ...

I'd have obtained A* in my 3 subjects and 49 other subjects across 4 different exam boards.

I would have done rubbish in everything at GCSE with the exception of latin. Done alright at AS, better than I did anyhow. Got an A* in Unit 4 Chemistry in january, but probably nearly failed biology.
