Re: Total amount of GCSEs?I think the duel award science is the same as core and additional, triple is core, additional and further. Duel is when you get 2 GCSEs, triple is 3 GCSEs(Original post by Turmoil)
Okay, thanks. Btw, I didn't neg you, just so you know and is Core science the same as duel aware science? -
Re: Total amount of GCSEs?So when you do triple science you only get one additional GCSE than doing duel award (if additional is included)? Thanks for the help btw(Original post by Kitty.Cat)

There are 3 modules for each science: B1, B2, B3, C1, C2, C3, P1, P2, P3
Taking one of each subject (i.e. B1, C1 and P1) gets you the single award. 1 GCSE.
Taking two modules for each subject (B1, C1, P1, B2, C2 and P2) gets you the double award. 2 GCSEs.
Taking all three modules for all three sciences gets you 3 GCSEs.
I think. -

Modules 1-3 get you one science ( c/b/p 1/2/3)
Modules 4-6 get you another (c/b/p 4/5/6)
Module 7 of each gets you triple (c/bp 7)
7s are pretty beasty modules but if your in a position to them then you should because they are really interesting
