Re: What GCSEs do I need to stand a chance for English + Am Studies??????????He is, don't worry. If you're looking at Sussex in particular, you need good GCSEs but they don't have to be amazing. They require 5 A*-C grades, but obviously try your best to exceed these. I had an offer from Sussex, for a different subject, and my GCSEs were 1 A* 3A and 4 B(Original post by JDWhite1995)

A's in Eng Lit + Land
B's in Maths (resit AS year), science (resit AS year), food tech
C's in hist, French and spanish (resit AS year). -

With GCSEs, as long as you have what you need to get into your A level courses (check now) and at least 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths you'll be fine.
