If you could cast yourself in the leading role of any film, what would it be and why?
Whether you think cinema died with Hitchcock or only got good once Michael Bay started blowing up helicopters, this is the place where moving pictures are discussed.

If you could cast yourself in the leading role of any film, what would it be and why?
Just to explain the concept of this, by casting yourself in this role you would not be similar to both the character and the actor who plays him/her, but instead you would make the role your own, in your own unique and personal style.
For me, it would have to be The Big Lebowski. I actually have a very similar personality to the character, but I'm an even bigger free loader, so for this reason I reckon I could play an even better Jeff Lebowski.
Now your turn, who would you cast yourself as and why?

I'd like to cast myself as James Bond.
As well as loving all the Bond movies that's the action movie role closest that I could see myself playing if I actually was an actor, although I wouldn't be the rugged type like Daniel Craig, I like to think I have a cool and refined sense of gentlemanly charm so I would play it more in the Roger Moore style
I'd need a stuntman to do all the action and fighting scenes but I could deliver the one liners and the interacting with women

Either Vincent Freeman from Gattaca.
I love everything about that character but above all I'll get to say ''You wanna know how I did it. This is how I did it Anton. I never saved anything for the swim back.'' And then the soundtrack kicks in. YEAH!!!
or Michael from The Godfather.
He's so calm and cool no matter what he's doing. Making a proposal to Kay. Preventing an assassination attempt on his father at the hospital. Questioning Carlo on his involvement in Sonny's murder.
