AS exams
Discussion for A-Level students and for those choosing their A-Level subjects.

I'm not 100% sure but from what I've seen they generally say that your A-Levels have to be completed in 2 years so you can resit exams but not whole years.
I'm sorry I know that's not the answer you want.
Some other members of TSR with more experience of Medicine applications might be able to help you more.

Re: AS exams
Thanks...!@AwkwardPenguin, haha its fine, need to know what the truth is anyway, don't I? Anyone that knows anymore on this- please reply!@tsveta what happens if I did really well in my GCSEs, get lots of work experience and get really in with this field, but just this year has been bad for me, although I did not let anyone know?

Re: AS examsDepends where you are applying. Oxbridge, UCL etc. do take note of GCSEs, and that's not to say other universities don't - but they don't play so much emphasis on them.(Original post by Studentinneed123)

Work experience is a really good idea, I advise that.
Have you thought about a gap year? If this year has been a bad year for you, retake the modules you did badly on in your upper sixth year, and then apply to uni in your gap year, after you have better results.
Someone help!
