Basically I'm doing A2 OCR English Literature and the books I'm studying are; The Winter's Tale, Faustus and Paradise Lost.

I'm a bit stuck on how to revise for them. I've read the books, I've tried learning quotes based on themes, characters, etc, and I've also learned some historical context to include in the essays.

Have any of you got any other tips, or ways that I could improve my essay writing in order to get an A?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest doing lots of past papers and practice essays and get your teacher to mark them so you can improve your essay writing abilities
