English lit or english litlang combined? doing english lit will mean that i have to drop chemistry or biology....
so should i stick with combined and do the sciences
or should i do lit, and drop one of the sciences?
    thanks
I suppose the fundamental questions are-what is it you want to do after your A Levels? Where do you want to be in two years time?

English Literature and English Lit&Lang are two highly respected A Levels that are similar in focus, but different in terms of discipline. They both require an awful lot of work, but as an ex-student of the good 'ld Lit&Lang course, I found it was a little too much at times, especially when I had three other A Levels to take care of. Plus, I didn't know this at the time, but I was better at writing English Literature essays than I was writing about linguistic theory. What are your strengths?

In any case have a good gander at the syllabuses for each course, and ask your teachers what specification you're going to be taking.
