    people that lift gtfih.
im only really getting back into lifting properly now after losing alot of muscle over the course of last year.

please don't tell me to go to the doctor, im just looking for experience.

when i go deep on squats i feel pressure on the outside of my knees and sometimes the click (in the same way sometimes your colar bone clicks) this is something i have definately noticed for the last 3 or so years, dont this its anything major.

when im close to the edge of my strength my knees feel scarily weak as though they are going to go can't really explain the sensation.

also my arse isnt directly in the middle of my 2 legs, it goes over to one side. i know everyone has one leg longer than the other, but i was wondering if this could be adding pressure to the knees, and obviously there is more strain on one quad than the other. so anyone else whos noticed this, will this go away with the regain of strength and muscle to the leg? because if i keep squatting like this i would expect there to be mucle imbalance between the left and right leg.

I get those 'clicks' your talking about when I do shoulder press and yeah im not worried about them.

As far as your actual technique goes the only way to address this imbalance is to strip the weight and work on your form from scratch. Get a gym instructor to look at you from the side and comment on your form.

do you point your feet out and make sure your knees follow the way your toes point? I have a feeling your feet are pointing forwards or at least your knees are pointing forward(most probable one)

I get the clicks as well though, it happens a lot for me. But no pain
