Re: Top 10 Eurovision Songs of All Time
I liked sebastian tellier's (france) entry 'divin e' 2008. It didn't win though.
Suppose abba and bucks fizz produced the most comprehensible winners since they were actually the sort of music that sold well at the time.

Waterloo

Re: Top 10 Eurovision Songs of All Time
For my all time favourite it's a toss up between:
Turkey 2008 (Mor ve Otesi - Deli) &
Germany 1979 (Dschinghis Khan - Dschinghis Khan)
My most memorable:
Austria 2003 (Alf Poier)
Latvia 2000 (Brainstorm)
Germany 2006 (Texas Lightning)
Finland 2006 (Lordi)
2006 was probably the best year! -
Re: Top 10 Eurovision Songs of All TimeI'd rep you if I could. I loved that Lordi song lol.(Original post by ConnorB)

Re: Top 10 Eurovision Songs of All Time
I didn't really watch the Eurovision until the last few years but my favourite song is Abba's Waterloo!
Not that I was alive when it was first out!
I also really liked Greece's song "Secret Combination" from the 2008 Eurovision and Latvia's pirate song "Wolves of the Sea" from the same year.

True, good song though
Argh, you're so right. Puppet On A String is another golden oldie. The problem is, there are just so many good songs that come out of Eurovision!(Original post by WarriorInAWig)

OK, you're all making my day now by reminding me of all of these incredible songs. I'm going to have to start a Eurovisionfest going in the office tomorrow.(Original post by ScottishShortiex)

Good to see Chernobyl had no adverse effects...
In all seriousness, it's a brilliant song, it's what Eurovision is all about to me
