Re: english with creative writing
Well, without knowing what your grades are like, it's hard to make any other university suggestions. Coventry isn't bad for English because the English course itself gives you the option of doing creating writing modules as part of your degree. I think Coventry is more broad interms of what it offers to students (a mix of Lit, Lang, Creative).
Canterbury Christ Church from what I know is obviously more specific so if you want to go down the literature route rather than a little bit of everything then this seems like the logical choice of the two. It's quite focused on the past also, (the literature at Coventry can sometimes be contemporary).
Nottingham Trent would be pretty good. You need similar grades, and it looks a little nicer than Coventry =P and the teachers are really enthusiastic. It's worth looking into what modules are on offer before you decide so you can "cater your course to your needs".

No reason why you can't get your grades up.

UEA have a fantastic reputation for their English and Creative Writing course. Kent does it too, I do the course at Hertfordshire university which isn't as well ranked but I enjoy it.Last edited by KJane; 12-05-2012 at 23:10. -
I'm going to study Writing and English at Anglia Ruskin,(not considered the best, but I like the look of it) give them a look they're a good uni, my mum went to their chelmsford campus but I'm the first one to venture into Cambridge lol, I have good sources that they're good. I hope you enjoy whatever course you choose and where you choose to go! :-)
