    John Lewis/Waitrose Workers
Just a quick question. Can you use your staff discount at John lewis and purchase items with their gift vouchers?

    yes you can.

    Rules are:

You cannot purchase a gift voucher of £10 and pay £7.50 for it.
You can use a gift voucher that you have received from someone else to buy something along with your discount.
For instance you have a voucher worth £10. The item is £13. You show you're discount card and the item will cost £9.75 giving you 25p back in cash.

Oh i see, because as a john lewis/waitrose worker you get discount off vouchers, and as you cant use that as youll get double discount, only if someone else purchased it, i see.
Btw i bough an item form around £600 in vouchers, the woman just counted it and ripped it, she didnt scan or enter anything into the machine. Is that normal?
    Thanks
