Re: No suggestions for improvement.if you got a 2.1, it means that your work is good, but not exceptional, but there's nothing specifically wrong with it - just that it's lacking the kind of wow factor of a first class essay. If you got a first, it means the marker can't think of anything to tell you about improving your work, which is perhaps annoying but take it as a compliment!(Original post by Aquinas)
Has anyone ever had this on one of their essays? How common do you think it is? Just curious as I got it on my latest one and I'm not really sure what to make of it apart from it being pretty good. Would be interesting to know what people think. -
Re: No suggestions for improvement.Cheers. Yeah I got the latter. It is a little bit annoying as you obviously always want to improve and it's kind of left me at a loss as to what to potentially work on. That's why I asked for other people's views!(Original post by IlexAquifolium)

Re: No suggestions for improvement.I know, it used to drive me nuts too, especially when the marker gives a low first. In my experience usually the only thing you could do more of is 'be more original' if that's the case.(Original post by Aquinas)

Re: No suggestions for improvement.Well I actually adapted and added an equation to an existing scholar's work in order to prove a hypothesis of mine, so I don't know how much more original I could've been. :P(Original post by IlexAquifolium)
