    No suggestions for improvement.
Has anyone ever had this on one of their essays? How common do you think it is? Just curious as I got it on my latest one and I'm not really sure what to make of it apart from it being pretty good. Would be interesting to know what people think.

if you got a 2.1, it means that your work is good, but not exceptional, but there's nothing specifically wrong with it - just that it's lacking the kind of wow factor of a first class essay. If you got a first, it means the marker can't think of anything to tell you about improving your work, which is perhaps annoying but take it as a compliment!

Cheers. Yeah I got the latter. It is a little bit annoying as you obviously always want to improve and it's kind of left me at a loss as to what to potentially work on. That's why I asked for other people's views!

I know, it used to drive me nuts too, especially when the marker gives a low first. In my experience usually the only thing you could do more of is 'be more original' if that's the case.

Well I actually adapted and added an equation to an existing scholar's work in order to prove a hypothesis of mine, so I don't know how much more original I could've been. :P
