    BBC work exp application question...
Hi, I'm filling out the form for a BBC work placement but the following question has confused me:

Please indicate which programmes within our local portfolio you think you are most suited to work on and why, or why you have a particular interest in a programme
What is meant by 'programme' here? Do they mean a certain output like 'technology' or do they mean a specific TV programme, like 'Click', for example?

Also, what is a 'local portfolio'? Does that mean regional output?

Thanks if anyone can help, I've checked the BBC website and can't uncover what they are asking in this question.

To me, that sounds like it depends on where you want this placement to be. For instance, if you wanted to work in Bristol, then you could say Casualty, Springwatch, Bargain Hunt... the programme means which TV programmes produced by that office.

Ah, I see what you mean, thank you. I searched the local area and found a list of BBC programmes produced here.
