growing out highlightsi'm getting my hair cut on friday, and thinking about getting subtle highlights. How well do highlights grow out - if you don't get them redone is it really noticeable or does it look natural - i'm asking cos i usually get my hair done every 6 months or so and i don't want them to grow out and look weird...

Re: growing out highlightsIt depends on how dark your hair is, my hair gets roots really bad but it's quite brown naturally.If you have lighter natural hair then it looks ok to let them grow out.Also dip dying is quite popular now so it doesn't look so bad to have roots as it did.
