Dropping out of Uni and returning to college
I'm about to complete my first year in BA(hons) Photography at London South Bank Univeristy, but I'm considering dropping out as I'm not happy with the course, returning to college and then reapplying to university to study something more academic.

If I were to do so, I'd go back to college and study A Level Further Maths, and Physics. I've already got a BTEC ND In print based media (DDD), I'm wondering if studying just these 2 A-Levels, combined with my existing UCAS points would be enough to secure me a place at uni?

It would really depend on where you apply because not all universities have requirements of UCAS points, some ask for specific grades and subjects. It would probably be a good idea to do A Levels relevant to what you want to do but you don't have to depending on where you apply later on.

Further Maths isn't a single A-level. You need to do Maths to be able to do Further Maths so you'd actually be doing 3 A-Levels which is obviously enough

    Hi Crook123

I'm currently studying mental health nursing at bucks new uni (also in my first year) but to be honest once I started the clinical placements I've realised its not for me as this is a career one should love and I don't lol. Anyway I'm considering dropping out to return to college and do an Access to Humanities & Social Science course in order to study History (my first love, science being my second) and then a PGCE to become a high school teacher.

You have to do what makes you happy and in order to do this it is best to follow your heart. Keep me posted
