Volunteer Work for my personal statement
Hiya guys, just looking to see if any of you have any ideas of volunteer work I could get relating to maths/physics? It would really help me fill up my personal statement a bit but I can't think of anything!

For maths or physics, work experience and volunteering isn't really an important part of the PS. It's more important that you read around the subject and discuss what you find interesting about it.

Three points: (1) There is so little space on the PS that few people have trouble writing far too much already, (2) you should never take up any activity just to be able to write about it on the PS, and (3) such activities are unlikely to make much difference to an application for a non-medical science subject unless they are closely related to the subject, which few are.
