What are the employment prospects for physiotherapy like?

    What are the employment prospects for physiotherapy like?
    I am thinking of applying for a physiotherapy course next year an would like to know what the current prospects are like. I can find them anywhere online, not for the UK at least.

    Ah man, if I had a pound for every time this was asked, then I wouldn't need a job as a physio. The below two from the last few weeks.

    Of the year above me that graduated this time last year, I think they uni said something like 87% were employed either as a band 5, or in a related field so either private or doing healthcare assistant work. You're not going to walk into a job, but they are out there. Thing is, in three years time, who knows where we will all be, so I wouldn't base a career decision around what the job market might be a few years down the line.
