Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad?
Would u see a very talkative as a bad thing? Like there wouldn't be any silence moments during the convo and it would be normal conversation such as little annectodes, asking them their plans for the weekend, etc. not talking about fashion or negatively about others (gossiping) to the person.
What do guys think of this? Assuming all else was fine/ok.
Thanks -
Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad?
As with most things, balance is appreciated. I'm certainly someone who gets easily frustrated if I'm conversing with someone and I struggle to get a word in, but I don't have much interest in people who need a lot of coaxing to get a reasonable response from. Ultimately I prefer to talk more than I listen, but I like the sound of my own voice far too much.

Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad?
As long as you allow them some alone time, if they're the type that needs that sort of thing, and don't always expect them to listen and more importantly engage in the convo 100% all the time, don't really see what would be so terrible about it.
I personally like talkative girls because I then don't have to say much, and can just nod along while thinking about other things.Last edited by avupa2.01; 03-05-2012 at 06:41. -
Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad?
i do like talkative girls who have something interesting to say.... but most girls just talk about ****.... so when u have met a nice girl who talks something u want to hear, ask her out, u will be mush happier with her than if u went out with a beauty who talks ****e constantly

Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad?
Personally I prefer girls who aren't as talkative as you've described. If you don't stop to think and you just say whatever's in your head then your thoughts are kinda shallow. If you think about stuff more, you'll often have something more profound to say.. I'm a bit of a deep thinker and I rate intelligence as an important thing so I appreciate when people take time to think about what they're saying than just talking for the sake of conversation.

Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad?what's wrong with reality Tv shows(Original post by RedDevilThing)
I think it can be cute, as long as it isn't bitching, gossip or about reality TV shows.

Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad? It's tiresome. I really don't care about who won X-Factor or anything else related to 'celebrity culture' and yet it's all a surprising amount of girls seem to talk about.(Original post by brushup)

It's tiresome. I really don't care about who won X-Factor or anything else related to 'celebrity culture' and yet it's all a surprising amount of girls seem to talk about.
But yeah, i'd much rather have a period of silence than a) making stupid small-talk and b) listening to how cute Aston from JLS looks with his new haircut.
Got nothing interesting/worthwhile to say? Say nothing.
Wanna talk about something interesting, i'll give you my attention and i'll contribute to the conversation.
People just think i'm an obnoxious douche when I ignore people talking about TOWIE or refuse to engage in meaningless chit-chat. -
Re: Guys: Very talkative girls-good or bad? Thanks for all the responses so far. What do you think are interesting conversational topics? Type up a brief list if possible. (I know each person is different in what they think is interesting but nice to know the opinions of people.) thanks.(Original post by shezshez)
