    Weird Staring
Righto. I'm a guy and this girl I sometimes see at the library keeps staring at me. She's done it on three or four separate occasions now. I guess there's nothing too unusual about that. The weird thing is she keeps going for 20 or 30 seconds and doesn't look away when I notice her. I would think she's just staring into space but it's happened multiple times now so it can't be chance. What's going on??? Please help, I'm clueless in such matters.

I've done this. It is actually spacing out a bit. I don't often know I'm doing it, its like I zone out and my eyes fix on to someone. Its so embarrassing. Only happens in the library when there is literally nothing other to look at than people when you are deep in thought.

Or she could be trying to make the sexy eyes. Either way just smile at her and if she is just zoning out she will realized what she is doing, thats how I realized I was doing it. Felt like a right creeper.

Yeah unless she is super creepy it sounds like she is spacing out.

Hard to say.. Either she is a creep, she spaced out because shes bored or else shes hoping to get your attention. Why dont you smile back?

I used to space out like all the time but once i did it and then realised i was staring at some boy. he was in one of my lessons and at the time i felt really embarrased and then after that i just kept catching his eye all the time. He thought I fancied him and told all his friends and his gf who i used to talk to just started giving me dirty looks all the time and literally blanked me when i asked her a question in one of our other lessons. there was nothing i could really say or do cos i didnt know them all that well.

whatever you do don't tell all your friends about it - shes probably just a bit weird. take it from someone who knows...

A few years back in the school cafeteria i was sat by myself waiting for my friends to order their food. I was watching their slow progress through the queue from the other side of the hall and after a while i had started daydreaming and as so i was staring right past a very attractive girl's face for several minutes. She realised, i did not, at least until she waved at me lmao.

Awesome, thanks guys! Now that you mention it I've probably also done the ol' space out. It's so relaxing to empty your mind; any related staring is a small price to pay.

Agree with the above, to test try and make sure that you spot her before she actually notices you. Then somehow you need to get her attention, get her to spot you whilst you are observing her and see her actions (I can't think of many clever examples atm), but when you approach her if she tries to look away or acts nervously that's a good sign. If she is like meh, who are you anyway attitude then you know she's been spacing out.

Haha, bad luck. This staring is not quite that prolonged

I would never do such a thing.
