What date did you officially withdraw from uni?

Well, you did say that the official date for withdrawing was 1st Dec? perhaps that's why they fined you. However 10 grand is a bit steep.. what university is this? That's the tuition fee for my whole 3 years!

Wanted to withdraw from course in Nov .In nov i discussed matter with my program cordinator,
she suggested that i take wild card and mitigation form and see if i can make it work.
I did appealed for wild card (27 nov 11) but never used it.
Then in Jan i got email asking that she is still waiting for my assignment and she is aware that i am going thru problems in personal life and cannot continue my studies.
To this i officialy repied for defer of program.Now University is penalising me two pay 10,000pound as fees because after i took cordinator advice i missed the cut of date.
I feel helpless and cheated .Instead of helping me university staff misguided me.what should i do.

Do you mean that you missed the cut off date for dropping out and now they are making you pay the full fees for the year?
If so, theres not much you can do about this.

unfortunately, because you dropped out after the deadline... you have to pay the full year. I am not sure why it is 10 grand? :\
