    Capri
    Anyone here been to Capri?

I'm planning on going with a friend this summer. I think it's one of those beautiful places you just have to experience.
I'm not really looking for clubbing (although I don't think there's too much of it there anyway, just beautiful nature, great food, some shopping, sightseeing, visiting the lagoon etc.

The best hotels on Capri are all on Anacapri, which is supposedly the place with the best view. However my friend says that it's better to live somewhere closer to the 'city centre' (although it's small). Is it difficult to get back and forth from Anacapri to the centre? I'm thinking that when the best resorts are on Anacapri, there's usually a reason for it?

How long are you planning on staying there?

I went there, but it was just a day-trip by ship from Naples. So I only stayed there for 8 hours or so.
The city centre is really nice with its hidden narrow alleyways. There are some stunning views from the cliffs and we also walked down a small path to some caves near the sea.

It would be a Capri-specific holiday of 5-6 days or so. My friend will then continue into Italy, I'll go back home.
