    English Lit revision...
Just want to know what you guys are doing to revise for english literature. I'm doing to kill a mockingbird and an inspector calls.
I was thinking of making notes on each theme relating it to the characters and writing useful quotes for each theme, is this okay?

What are themes on An inspector calls and to kill a mockingbird...?

Im doing Of Mice and Men and An Inspector Calls. I am rereading the books, learning quotes and techniques the author has used e.g. lighting, tension in AIC.

You can read AIC in a couple of hours. Try to read it through as many times as possible before the exam, making fresh connections and recognising new techniques that have been used by Priestley each time. I get something new out of that play each time I read it.

Doing AIC and OM&M, and I have no Idea where the quotes are located so I'll have to have a re-read and memorise the location Plus I need to test how quick I can write in 1:30hours

Is it closed book? How are you learning quotes? I just can't get them into my head

Hey, i'm doing inspector calls to and i think the themes are:
responsibility - how they all have responsibility for eva's death
sex - how women didn't have the right to vote, upper class women just marry rich men etc
guilt - they all react to guilt differently, and metaphorically stab eva in the back
age- the young change from the situation as they feel very guilty and sympathatic whereas the parent don't and do anything to protect theirselves
class - the characters(except the maid) are all upper class, upper class are unaware of the easy lives they lead
lies - there whole lives are lies.
    hope this helped xx
