    Pee problems
Ok, a few weeks ago it started burning when I urinated. On one occasion I peed blood, but following that I didn't again and it eased up a little. I got an STD test a few days later [including a urine test which came up negative for any infection] but I'm clean. The pain isn't agonising, just quite uncomfortable. Any idea what this could be? Is it worth going to the doctors as I've already come up negative for infection?

You're pissing blood, and you need to ask TSR if it's worth going to see a DOCTOR?

    Wow.

I think it's definitely worth following this up at the doctors

have you been tested for a urinary tract infection, in addition to the STI? sounds more like cystitis or something, than an STI (though i believe chlamydia can have similar symptoms if they show?). if you're urinating blood, that suggests that any infection is quite well embedded. avoid fruit juice, especially citrus ones and caffeine and get to the doctor asap. they should be able to do a quick urine test there and then, as well as sending something off for proper testing, and give you some antibiotics (if it is indeed cystitis).

I told the doctor at the STD clinic that I had urinated blood on one occasion and because I hadn't since she wasn't too concerned. I'm not an idiot. The urine test they did at the clinic seemed to cover general infection [the only reason they made me pee was BECAUSE I said I'd had pain.] However, I'll get to the doctor tomorrow and see if they can sort it. I don't know if it's just dehydration because I don't drink an awful lot. Thanks for the advice!
