Feel like I'm losing my best friend
Basically, I've just finished my first year at Uni and about to return home. However I feel slightly concerned that me and my best friend from home have grown apart massively.
He hasn't made an effort to talk to me much whereas I try and drop him and text or a phone call every other week or so. I understand that he's now got a 9-5 job but that surely doesn't stop him from merely sending me a text or something to see I'm well and that, right? He also likes to keep everything to himself now, like he doesn't talk to me about anything eg his problems with his girlfriend etc, whereas before, he would tell me practically everything.
Anyone in a similar situation? -

. I don't think your loosing him, i would say talk to him about this but we are men and "REAL" men don't talk about this.
(BTW i'm glad you posted this anonymous, this means you want to keep your manliness intact good for you Sir" -

You and me
We used to be together
Every day together always
I really feel
That I'm losing my best friend
I can't believe
This could be the end
It looks as though you're letting go
And if it's real,
Well I don't want to know
A face like yours belongs in a zoo...
Please don't be sad cause i'll be their too!
Not in the cage, but laughing at you

Re: Feel like I'm losing my best friend
Maybe he doesn't have as many problems seen as he's no longer in school/education which can cause alot of problems due to stress, and the fact that other people can just be annoying.
Yeah working 9-5 doesn't mean your busy all the time but you seem busier than when you where in school however.
Plus he's maturing. Some people just gradually drift apart as they get older down to nothing but the fact that they're paths, interests and just many things can change. -
