Microsoft Office 2010 product key, how to locate?
Basically, I had to re-install microsoft office as my computer got a virus. We share it between my family, and so other laptops/computers have the same product key.
We have lost the actual case for the disks, and so we dont know where to find the product key.
Is it a possibility that the product key will be on the Microsoft Programme on the other computers and i can locate it?
Ive used the certain amount of times that you can use it without the key, and seeing as I have exams I need to have word! -
Re: Microsoft Office 2010 product key, how to locate? Is the Product ID (Used to obtain support?) not different from the Product key (used to install and activate the product?)?(Original post by Repressor)
File>Help>Product Id on the right hand side.
I always used something like Jellybean keyfinder in the past, and it hasn't missed a trick. -

I think there's something there if you have an OEM version that came with your computer. I could be wrong though. -
Re: Microsoft Office 2010 product key, how to locate? No, it's certainly a possibility. Seems you have to pay for newer versions of the program I linked to previously; but Nirsoft's Produkey works just fine.(Original post by Paradoxical)
If you're talking about the key used to install the product, finding it on the system is not really a possibility. It's because product keys are encrypted within the registry.
Hope this helps.
