Pain in forearm when I lift weights
I wasn't sure whether post this here or in 'Health'.
Basically, as the title says, I get a pain in my forearm when I lift weights. It only happens with the right arm, even though I lift with both arms in the same way. I get it just below half way down my arm.
Any ideas on what caused it and how to stop it? I've tried not lifting for a few days, but it just comes back as though nothing's different and I've tried lifting in a slightly different way. -

Perhaps that is overtraining, then you should be resting your muscles as much as possible. Try to train your legs instead like McHumpy said, by doing squats. If you don't have a barbell (or one that's not heavy enough), try to find two heavier objects around the same mass, hold them in your hands and squat. It will still do the job. If you have dumbbells, it works perfectly; just make sure they're the same weight.

Knowing for which lifts your forearms are hurting would be useful. -
Re: Pain in forearm when I lift weightsI have the same issue. I think it's due to bone density and forearm. Just work the forearms and the bone will strengthen too.(Original post by Tedaus)
Bicep curls with dumbells.
It does hurt a fair bit, it's frustrating as at times it holds me back from max weights.
