Do you think i will be disqualified?
so i had my OCR ICT as level exam this morning, and we're allowed to take in notes into the exam. My teacher has been very lax, and we weren't really well prepared at all. We got given a number of tasks to do to take into the exam which would help us. I didn't know how big of an issue it was, but it said on the front of the exam paper ALL WORK MUST BE YOUR OWN talking about the notes made as well. The thing is my dad helped me with the last task for the notes, and drew out a diagram for me which i then took into the exam. I didn't know how strict it was, and i'm now scared they're going to disqualify me! do you think they'll disqualify me for having one page of A4 in the notes we could take in which was a diagram not in my writing, and will they even be able to tell? both mine and my dad's writing is really messy, i'm just worried about it now! oh yeah and all the notes get handed in with your exam paper so i'm pretty sure the marker will check them and stuff! please help!

it's pretty unlikely! besides, they can't really have rules about notes because what's to stop someone getting their dad to tell them what to do, and doing it in their own writing?
the markers have hundreds of papers to mark, it's unlikely they'll even notice.

thank you! i think i'm just really stressed because of the exams, and because i hate ICT! you've all made me feel a lot better! haha, i think the worst they'd do is revise the amount of marks i get or something!

How would they even know? In all seriousness, I have no idea how they would tell.

As long as your dad didn't write "written by ineedhp's father", you'll be fine. If they question your hand-writing, say it changes with the speed you write. Happens with me, too. I doubt you'll be disqualified though.

When they found out it was my dad they made him come in and do some ICT questions to make sure he didn't have an extensive knowledge of the subject.

I sat the same exam this morning. G041/01 if I'm correct about Pounds Car Hire.

Task 1, which was the bullet points you really didn't need as the same answers are in the pre release which should have been given to you. Only the last bullet point should have included your own research

Task 2 was again in the book. It was really seeing whether you could get the diagram out. Remember examiners are marking roughly 6 papers an hour. They get paid per paper they mark. I can tell you know some examiners are completely useless at OCR. Just check out the link below

To tell you the truth you should be fine. Unless your dad sat the same exam with the same tasks then your screwed

Dont worry about it. A lot of people start of writing neat in their exams but by the end of the exam, the handwriting is barely recognisable. The examiners will just assume you were rushing for time and handwriting changed.

No but he had to do the test with his opposite writing hand, was very strange.
