Hi,

I am starting mental health nursing in September. Just wondered if anyone knew roughly when the first placement would be? Also, int he first year are all the nursing lectures together with different branches of nursing?

Hi, I just noticed your post and wondered when you'd applied for the course? I'm currently completing the UCAS form and hoping to get onto the September intake, it seems to still be open. Did you attend an interview?

Hi, I applied in October 2011, I had my interview in November and was given a place early May.

Yes i think we're all together in the first year, with all nursing branches. I've also been wondering when the first placement will be. Do you know how many placements we have in first year? Not sure if its 2 or 3

Hi, I'm not sure how many placements we will have...I think three. After emailing the university, I now know that the first placement will be in November for 2 weeks and then in January we have a placement which is for two months.
By the way, have you received any information about the nhs bursary yet?

No, i emailed the admissions tutor (i think that's who she is) about the bursary, she said they should be contacting us soon about it
