Student Finance passport information.. HELP!I'm only doing it this late as I was never given an NI number, so I had to go through the process of applying for one.
My Problem:
Sometime after the issuing of my passport, I had my Surname changed by deed-poll from my fathers to my mothers. (Jones > Howard)
I am filling in student finance now, and it is asking for my surname as it appears on my passport; which I have done. But that name is not my name now, will this be a problem? Does anyone know anything I can do/anyone to ask?

As I understand it, your passport is no longer a suitable document for you to use as identification
