What do you think of this gym?
There's this gym that I saw near my house and it's very cheap! But the gym specializes in martial arts training (Muay Thai I think) so the fee is actually paying for the training, but I can still use the gym equipments if I want to. The gym is very small though; just one cardio machine, a small place to do bench press, one chest/shoulder press machine, etc - basically it has one of each machines only :/

It's nice since it's small and near to my house but again, it's small so I might need to compete with others who would want to use it. It's very affordable though; but the place doesn't look 'futuristic' as the other more expensive gyms. Also, the place is secluded so I'm assuming not many people go there.

What do you think? Any input is much appreciated.

Does it have squat racks or power cages? Is it a busy gym with only one bench?

The owner said he just opened it a month ago. Don't think they have one.

I think they do - not sure, need to check.

I don't think so. But I just went there once, so not sure.

I think you need to know these things before people can give a proper opinion

    You are right. Sorry mate

Hurm... but in a very general observation:
(1)The gym doesn't look like it has many members since it has only opened for a month.
(2)They do have the machines that I would like to use but they only have one of each :/
(3)The place is very quiet and small.
    (4)The owner is friendly.

*Not sure the martial art will benefit me really since that's what the gym is focusing on :/

If all the equipment you want to use are bench and shoulder machine then your routine is probably not the best

    1) decide what exercise you want to do.
    2) does it have the equipment to do it.

    Yes/no = answer.

    Very complicated procedure!

If you are interested in the muay thai training then go for it! It would be a great overall work out by itself and it will boost your stamina while keeping you fit.

If you are interested in strength training and bulking up, keep looking. If this place does manage to get popular, you will have to spend most of your time waiting to use the 1 machine they have

Just make sure that it's not a cover for an illegal drug's trade - and all the members know what it is except for you ^^
