    Higher Psychology 2012
So, who's all doing the exam this year, and what topics are you doing?

Early Socialisation, Stress, Conformity & Obedience & Atypical behaviour for me. My hardest exam this year no doubt.

I'm doing the same topics as you, except for Stress. I'm doing Memory instead, but yeah, I really don't like the subject. Definitely going to be my hardest exam too haha.

I'm doing memory, stress, conformity and obedience and atypical behaviour. I got an A in the prelim, but I'm finding the first unit REALLY difficult.
What you finding really difficult in particular? Is that memory I take it? We did a-typical behaviour first, and we did early socialisation instead of memory. Shame really, I would have found memory quite interesting.

Our class did Memory, Atypical Behaviour (eating disorders), Obedience and Conformity and Early Socialisation. Got 82% in the prelim but having trouble memorising all those studies that go with each topic. XD I doubt i'll get anywhere near that in the actual exam.

Has anyone's teacher/lecturer predicted certain questions? My teacher told us that the papers are ROUGHLY on a three year cycle, so that it may be similar to 2009

Not feeling very confident at all! Our teacher predicted the 20 mark essay question to be on conformity & obedience rather than atypical behaviour? Hopefullly!

Hi, does anyone know what the marks you need to get for each grade are? Like how many marks would you need for an A?

    Thanks

Can anyone please tell me how to answer this question???

Describe the three stages of memory. Your answer should refer to research evidence relevant to one of the stages.

Describe the three stages of memory. Your answer should refer to research evidence relevant to one of the stages.

I personally would talk about Encoding, Storage, Capacity, Duration, Retrival BREIFLY. Then mainly focus on talking about the Working Memory model - Baddeley & Hitch 1974 when discussing one stage of memory (Central Executive within STM)
