Do I have to declare all my GCSEs on UCAS?
I heard that you have to declare all your gcses on your UCAS points and I was wondering if:

I have to declare my OCR nationals ICT level 2 on my UCAS form.

I started it late and am most probably going to fail it due to the fact that my deadline is this Friday and I have got 4 actual GCSE exams this week therefore making it impossible for me to finish.

Lastly, do universities really care about vocational qualifications like these and whether I passed or not?

    Yes. You do.
And yes, they will take them into account.

A question from me: Do you need to list all GCSE retakes, or the highest grade you have achieved?

So on a UCAS application you just list:

    Gcse qualifications
A-Level subjects and predict grades/AS grades
    Extra curriculum activities etc?

You list GCSE qualifications, what your taking to A level and any subjects being resitted, and your AS grades that you have, as these will have been certificated in august (unless you're at a private school, then this may well not be the case.)
Extra curriculars are included in your personal statement.

Do you have to list all Vocational qualifications, or are they not mandatory?

It is mandatory to list every qualification you have ever taken, be that GCSEs, a vocational course, a diploma, a degree or anything else which is a qualification.

Emm...i was recently entering some details into my UCAS form and am a bit confused....
I got 3A* 2A 3B and 2Distinction* in BTEC First Diplomas...i also have a grade D in gcse religious studies but i don't really want to mansion it as it looks bad (my teacher was away for most of the study year so... :/ )
IF I DO NOT mansion it, would anybody care, or even find out???

Oh, and btw...where do I write about my voluntary work and work experience? Is it in the personal statement section?

Yes, they will find out. When you go to university interviews, or if your course doesn't require an interview, you will have to show your GCSE certificates at the interview or on the first day of university. Your GCSE certificates will have your Religious Studies grade on them along with all your other grades.

If you lie, they can take your your university place off you and just tell you to leave. They base your offer on the information you provided to them at the time, so if you try to hide your Religious Studies GCSE they can just tell you that you're not allowed to have your place, even if you've met the conditions of their offer. They don't want somebody in their university who is dishonest.

You write about your voluntary work and work experience in your personal statement.

It says on the UCAS website that you have to put in EVERY qualification, even the exams you have a U grade in.

Your work experience and stuff of that nature goes in your personal statement.

just quick question: If it is a separate certificate and i simply will not bring it on the interview....they will still find out, won't they?

It really won't look bad on you; I got an E is AS Biology and I got 5 offers from good universities. It's just better to be honest now than worrying about them finding out later when you've got offers

It could technically be fraud if you deliberately left a result out. I thought about leaving my E in GCSE Spanish off when I applied, but its best not to chance it.
