    History Revision Help Please
    Hi everyone,
Between 11th-15th June, all crammed into one week, i have SIX GCSE's. These are:
    2 Maths ( Non-Calc and Calc ), 2 Science ( Chemistry and Biology ) and 2 History ( Unit 3 resit and i think Unit 1 where you choose 3 sections out of 6 ).

I am very worried about the History re-sit. I was predicted an A and i worked VERY hard before the exam in January, but i came out, unfortunately , with a C. I am in Year 9 and i am doing my GCSE's early, so that doesnt help, because i have then missed 1 year of history.

Basically , could anyone tell me any revision tips for this paper. It is the one with 5 questions, Inference, Purpose, Cross-Referencing, Utility and Hypothesis. My teacher has been very helpful and helped me out with a student guide and gave me plenty of past papers to practice on. I have done alot of work on how to structure the answers because this is where i failed last time i think. I have also done a bit of revision on the actual knowledge. Is there anything else i can do? Please tell me any tips that have worked for you, and if you are stuck on anything , send me an email and i will try my best to help you, Thanks! )

EXPLAIN. Explain everything, and USE THE SOURCES, and QUOTE from the sources. Download a mark scheme for an exam you're doing and look at what they award marks for.

Thanks alot mate, that is very useful, and i have already done that but i will get another one to have a look. Thanks for the advice!! Personally i prefer the 'Student Guide' my teacher gave me. It was 30 pages long. It is:
GCSE Modern World History Unit 3 source enquiry-War and the transformation of British Society c1903-28
    Guidance document for students.
Thanks alot thought!!! So what year are you in now, and what subjects are you doing?

Hi, sorry for late reply. I have started early on that Accelerated Cohort thing. Basically, i will finish the majority of my GCSE's in Year 10 ( Except English which will continue through Year 11) . then , while i am year 11, i can do any re-sits i want to , and then start Lower Sixth
