Hertfordshire university interview Guide for Radiography. What to expect
    Hi
For all those who have an interview at Hertfordshire for radiography this is how it happens

    1. Lecture room
First you will be taken to a lecture room with other potential students like yourself, this is where they will talk about the university, radiography, and finance stuff. BTW you can ask any questions.

    2.group interview
After the lecture room you will be split in to small groups of 6-8 and wil be taken to the interview location, there the interviewers will introduce themselves and then the ice braker begins. This is where you will be asked to introduce yourself and say something unique about yourself.( I have seen other students imitating The noise of a monkey, however i just told them I am a normal guy who enjoys Football and badminton)

Now you all will be shown a big paper with several scenarios ie "a women is 7 months pregnant how would you scan her" and you will have to match it with the appropriate radiography techniques like ultrasound, ct, MRI, fluoroscopy ETC

Thereafter you will be showed a picture of an everyday object, I was shown a picture of a torch, and you have to say many things possible about that object (if it's anything electrical make sure you talk about heat energey etc
After that you will taken to a table where several images of X-rays will be displayed and a bunch of discriptions and you have have to match them up together. MAKE SURE YOU GET INVOLVED DO NOT JUST STAND THERE, OR YOU RISK NOT GETTING IN. After that interview is finished

    3. The TEST
Now you can releive yourself, take a short trip to the toliet. Thereafter your little group will be taken to the computer room where you will see other students will be taking the "computer test" unless you are the first. This test is very easy just go through it, and take your time DON'T RUSH, Don't try to impress other students be showing how fast you finished it, your are only fooling yourself. Ops btw the test consist of English and Maths, some questions are about percentages, spelling, grammar, multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division. I am sure you get the jist. This test is not very difficult hope you pass and good luck.

    Hope this has helped you.
If you passed I will see you this september.
If you see and spelling mistake or grammar error feel free to notify me
