Help! Wrong question number in OCR exam (English Language 29/05/12)
    Hey,

I had my English Language exam today and made a bit of a stupid mistake, in previous exams when we've had the option between answering two question it's been between question a or b, however, in this exam it was 4 and 5. I choose to do question 4 and with ignoring question 5 I somehow assumed that the question I was answering was 4a not just 4.

I know that some exam boards can be funny about putting the right number and now I'm worried that my answer won't count, it will be obvious that I've made a mistake to the marker but if they're under strict rules they might not mark it. I'm an A* student so this would really knock me back.

I was just hoping to get some other opinions and/or advise

Thanks in advance, sorry for the long explanation!

I'm sure you will be fine! The examiners will realise what question you have done, and ignore what you wrote!
It won't affect your mark, don't worry! (:

You put 4a? That should be fine.

They'll understand which question you have answered - don't worry! They can't mark you down for putting a slight mistake on a question number!!!
