South Africa vs South AfricaHaha sorry about the title - I couldn't resist!
So...what are our predictions for the England vs SA series.
I think its fair to say that the result of this series really does decide who is the undisputed number 1 test side going round at the moment.
Eng went to SA in 2009-10 and the result was 1-1. If England win at home then I think its fair to say that they're the better team. If SA win away from home that's an equally top-spot-worthy achievement. A draw leaves Eng on top but I don't think it necessarily makes the 'undisputed' best team.
Im predicting a 1-1 draw.
For all the silly subcontinental supporters who will say that losing 3-0 to Pakistan means England can never be the best...well remember they have won their last 7 series at home and beaten Australia away from 3-1 and that SA: Couldnt beat Aus at home or away. Couldn't beat Eng at home. Couldn't beat Ind at home (Eng beat then 4-0). So its not clear at all.
