All you can do is ask them. No one on here will be able to tell you.

Its really simple to apply for deferred entry. Literally i told ucas (on tuesday) that i wanted to take a gap year and i made a mistake appplying for 2012 entry. All i had to do was call up the university that i wanted (my conditional firm choice) and made a formal email stating the reasons why and it had been just a mistake that could only be rectified on their side.
It also depends on the subject if its really popular they want a good reason to give you deferred entry though and may decline your request for one, so its always good to check before hand by calling if its possible as UCAS can't help you, they'll only be informed of any changes of your application. Hope this helps OP xx

You'll just need to apply for student finance again next year
