Any sports therapists?
Hello all!
I had been in University for a year before dropping out because I lost interest in Software Development.
After a few years of part-time employment; I'm looking into leaning towards a career in sports therapy.
I'm just not sure which route would be the best to take for this. I've seen various university/open college courses and I'm getting quite confused.
I'm currently looking at;
http://www.openstudycollege.com/cour...massage-3.html
and
http://www3.uwic.ac.uk/english/sport...ages/home.aspx
^ However, I wont be able to enroll in UWIC course this September - as I don't have the funds available.
(I can't relocate from Cardiff as I have to look after my family etc.)
Would it be worth taking the Open Study College course - if only just to get a basic knowledge of Sports Therapy? Also, would it really be necessary/worth it to take the UWIC course for an extra 1,800 pounds - next September?
Also, can anyone recommend any useful books regarding Sports Therapy - which would help my knowledge before taking part on either (or both) course(s)?
If anyone could help, I'd be most appreciative!
Thanks
