Basically I am following some instructions in the hope of fixing a video player, and it says to open Chrome, then click the spanner icon in the top right corner, then click 'Options' from the drop down list. There is no 'Options' to click though... What else could it mean to click on? Thanks

Ok, you're right actually, does your chrome have 'Options' though, just the guy insists it's under bloody Options...

Click the spanner - then it should launch a drop-down menu that says "settings"

please note: this is in the latest version of chrome

To upgrade your browser click the spanner then click on About Google Chrome and it should update

edit: can you explain what exactly is the problem? what happens to the videos?

do you want me to fix it over TeamViewer? (a free remote desktop program)

Just some fool was telling me to click on Options, giving me aload of jip at this time of the night, just a bit hacked off by it all tbf. He's was suppossed to be the computer expert.

The video kept cutting out, and I was told it had to with my computer looking at old pages stored in the cache, or due to a corrupted cookie, so I had to clear all my browsing data.

There's no " Option" in Chrome, only in IE.
