OCR GCSE English Lit resit - URGENT - 40% Rule
    Hey,
Last year I have done 50% of the lit exams, and I got 2As, (2x25%)
However i am resitting the exams this year.
Also from this year, I am doing 25% of the rest of the exams, and have completed the coursework earlier this year.

However the question is, if I resat the As from last year, would the BETTER mark of the two go through or the RESIT mark?

I have realised that due to this "40%" thing, I must have 40% of the course done during the June exams, but everybody who is NOT doing resits have only done 25% of the 40% needed (i am not sure if the coursework, also 25%, is included with this final percentage)

Thanks for any help needed, the resits are tomorrow morning so urgent help needed, thanks.

It's been a while since you posted and nobody's replied yet...maybe you should check out MarkedbyTeachers.com, TSR's sister site. It has the largest library of essays in the UK.

They've got over 181,000+ coursework, essays, homeworks etc.. all written by GCSE, A Level, University and IB students across all topics. You get access either by publishing some of your own work, or paying £4.99 for a month's access. Both ways give you unlimited access to all of the essays.

All their documents are submitted to Turnitin anti-plagiarism software, so it can't be misused, and the site's used by hundreds of thousands of UK teachers and students.

What's more, you can take a look around the site and preview the work absolutely free. Click here to find out more...

I'm doing the 40% thing too. I was told that the resit mark is put forward, even if it's worse than the original. It's so annoying! Best of luck.
