Getting A*AB but offer is AAA?
Basically I have an offer from University of Southampton for law, and they're asking for AAA.
However I personally think I have a better chance of getting A*AB than AAA because I'm feeling a tad wary about being able to get an A in English.
Therefore I was wondering would they consider giving me a place, because I would have recieved the same amount of ucas points, or would they reject me because they havent asked for ucas points? -
Re: Getting A*AB but offer is AAA?They may give you a place, they might not. You can't really know in this sort of situation. If it's competitive and they've got more than enough people with AAA, they will reject you. If they have some spaces left over after results come through, you'd probably be one of the first to be given one of those spaces (if you got A*AB).(Original post by Harry.K)

The best thing you can do is try get AAA (or higher) to be honest. There's no guaranteed (or even likely) way around it.
