    Concerned about Accomodation deadline
    Hey all,

as my title suggests, I am growing more and more concerned about the closing deadline for my offer of accommodation for a halls of residence whilst I study at London Met. The email sent to me was delivered on the 29th of May, at that point they stated that I had 10 days to accept the offer.

With the current celebrations going on I have been unable as of yet to send off the completed acceptance offer, but the nearest date i can send it off is next Wednesday, 1 day before my deadline. I have tried to call the accommodation for help or even to hopefully extend the deadline but i cannot get through, so i'm gradually worrying more and more in case i am too late.

Would anyone be able to give me some advice for my situation?

Also, are bank holiday days taken into account into the deadline? (Meaning will Monday and Tuesday count even though they are non work days)

If it says working days, then bank holidays and weekends are not included. However, if it just says days then they are.

However, I'm confused as to why this is a problem if it is possible to do it the day before the deadline though

Not only that but the "celebrations" finish on Tuesday what do you need that will require a week before you can send it off ... and how could 2 bank holidays impinge on that

You can get next day delivery (NB different from recorded delivery). Do they state on the website if it's the date of posting or the date they receive it?

It doesnt say on the email offer it needs to be with them on the tenth day, so im assuming its 10 days to get it in, thursday being the last available day. Thankyou all
