University in Holland ?!
I want to make a change and go to study a business related course in Holland (also a lot cheaper), however i would like to know of any British experiences in going to a university here? Is it a good experience? How would I cope not knowing any dutch and everything being completely new and different?
I have my eye on the University of Amsterdam, and if anyone has an experience there then that would be even better?
Thanks

Re: University in Holland ?!So would I. This is more of a 'dream' though. I'd love to go and study there, in a good university, with low costs. But it's all very complicated and I don't know how.(Original post by Bailey271)

I was wondering if you had to take it off the 5 choices you get for UCAS, knowing that UCAS is UK bound. Or do I somehow apply without UCAS knowing? -
Re: University in Holland ?!Well from what I have seen, the entry requirements are quite low compared to many UK uni's. It says a specific requirement from people with UK A levels on the websites, that should tell you(Original post by MrBlueMo0n)

Re: University in Holland ?!Well I've tried some of the websites, like Amsterdam or Groningen, but I can't actually find any courses. I've never understood why websites have to be so complex.(Original post by Bailey271)

Btw I have to thank you just there for giving me a little enlightenment. I'm hoping to study computer science, but for my personal statement it's very hard to explain and have actual solid reasons why I like the subject. I can't just say that I find it interesting, can I?
So even though you've done nothing, I've managed to use websites as a reason - I want to be able to design better websites.
