I have a laptop (Toshiba c650d)
The laptop don't boot but the hard drive seems fine by the sounds of it.
How would I go about getting the data from it? -

Well if u can tell ur HDD is fine just by the sound of it. I am sure u'll b able to find a Data Recovery S/W, they are very simple and easy applications. Get an external case as Gef mentioned u have ur data and a new external HDD.
