Re: Mmu 2012 partyUnder that logic you won't have much time for partying! Too busy searching for seeds, nuts and insects.(Original post by the.shrew)
you clearly dont want to be put in a flat with anyone if you have lonely in your username clevercloggs
Amusing come back though, have some rep! -
Re: Mmu 2012 party
I haven't applied for cambridge hall
I was tempted because it's the only hall you share a flat with 10 people so it is clearly the party hall. I applied for all the others where there is 4 to a flat and kind of regretting it now
But can I still join your party?! Trust me, I know how to party

Re: Mmu 2012 party
Couldn't find the freshers thread, so I thought I'd post back in here (it might be fairly long though)...
I've been reading about all the parties within the first week, or two. Looking forward to it all (etc). But one thing I'm thinking about is clothing. I'm looking at the events on the students union website, and I'm pretty nervous/anxious about what I'm going to wear.
For example, the welcome party. Is this just what I normally wear when I go 'round town etc; jeans and shirt? Then I'm reading on and seeing evens such as the beach party, glow party, go back to school and freshers ball - I've never been to any of these sort of parties before and haven't got a clue what to wear!?

Re: Mmu 2012 partyTypical nights out, go with smart casual. You're there to get smashed, not to look totally dapper. I'll be going with cuffed jeans, toms and smart t-shirt, probably plain white because I look swell in it(Original post by Beatlemania)

Beach party = flipflops/sandals (NOT clunky types), swim shorts + vest.
Balls... If this is what I think you mean then totally smart, no casual wear at all. Suited and booted ideally.
But don't sweat it at all, throw on whatever you wanna wear, it's freshers, not job interview week. -

Thanks for this.. Yeah, you're right. Just sounds like normal night out then if smart casual.
