Managed to refresh myself in at 10.45 just before the entire system gave up, St George's/Wessex/Benyon. Praying I get one of the first two as I don't fancy having to deal with the cost of anything else! Put Benyon in because that was the next cheapest at about £130. Pleased to have got it out the way, though.

Yeah, I'm stretching by budget considerably if I get put in Childs. I just liked the idea of staying in a completely new hall. I was trying all day to get in... I only succeeded at about half three...

Went for St Pats, Wantage and Windsor. Managed to get in at around 3pm after the system constantly crashing.

Mackinder!! It's really nice, new, has an ensuite, is self-catered but Park bar is a 1 minute walk away if you don't fancy cooking AND it's on campus so all your lecture buildings are really close by! I lived there last year so if you have any questions feel free to pm me!

im hoping there will be space left for the people that put reading as their insurance.

we're not allowed to choose accommodation until we are accepted into the uni on results day, but some of the halls look really nice and modern xD

Don't worry about that! I was in the same position a few years ago now and actually got stuck with temporary accommodation (lasting only until the end of freshers' week!!!!) but just before I actually went to move in I was given a room in the Park group halls which were brand new My flatmate was in the same position and was told that she could stay in that 'temporary' room for good I wouldn't worry - I knew a lot of people who were stuck in temporary accomm and they were all housed really quickly!

Does anyone know when we receive offers on accommodation...? Is it results day? At the moment my application just says "awaiting verification".

Yes I'd like to know when we hear something a bit more concrete re: accomodation too!

I've applied to Wantage, Benyon and St Patricks.
