We are all in one boat
“We are all in one boat, one global economy. Our fortunes rise together, and they fall together. We have a collective responsibility—to bring about a more stable and more prosperous world, a world in which every person in every country can reach their full potential. How do we do that?

Stop spending all the dollar on weapons and war and all go and explore space together, forever.

The above responses are why global economic policy is left to the unelected IMF and World Bank rather than trusted to the people.

    Democracy lol.

If those in charge of the World Bank/IMF were elected then we'd just end up with a political mess of people trying to buy votes rather than trying to fix problems.

Hmm.. I am no expert, but this is just an idea from from thing my friend told me.

Everything revolves around money and each country tries to make profit, but this is highly unsustainable and also means the richer countries are able to exploit poorer countries with the power their money gives them. (Ultimately, people get angry and wars occur - money is also wasted on war....!!!!)

Ultimately, without money, no country would be exploited, there would be no need for war - unless it was over religion which is stupid.. but without money is war possible? I don't know.
Without money, the world wouldn't be working together out of greed, or desire to make profit, but actually to do something worthwhile and good, like actually making the earth sustainable in terms of recycling and producing sustainable energy.

(Did you know with all the money put into war in ONE year could be put toward making sustainable energy that could last us forever!)
