Question about the Eurozone crisis.3 questions:
Is it true that France wanted countries like Italy and Spain to join the Eurozone despite their high borrowing?
Why was France so adamant for this to happen? What did they gain out of the PIIGS membership of the Eurozone?
And is it true to say that the Eurozone would be in much better condition now had the PIIGS never joined in the first place?
