    MSc. Computing (Specialism)
Anyone here applied for MSc. Computing (Specialism) ? I applied to the Performance Modelling stream and got accepted. I'd be glad to know of someone who will be going this year.

Living in Cyprus for the last 2 years but originally from India. Have you got any email regarding accommodation from Imperial ?
Also are you planning to live in private accommodation or the one offered by Imperial (seems to be much more expensive) ?

diV1ne, with work ex do you mean work experience? If so, do you mean as part of the course?

EDIT: I'll have to complete a project / dissertation. It can be undertaken in collaboration with Imperial's industry partners. But it's not a work placement as such.

oh yeah, I think I also have that option, I think if I get the chance to do it with an Industrial partner it would be great for future opportunities.

Your MSc (Specialism) is basically a rescyled MEng course (undergraduate degree). So basically your modules are 3rd and 4th year modules. So you'll be taking subjects with the UGs. Just to let you know

That's fine, I saw the subjects I can take and I haven't done them in my undergrad. The fact that some of my classes are with UGs are fine by me.

    Thanks. Fine by me :-)

I suppose that Imperial doesn't host old lecture slides that I could look at over the holidays?

Could be, but I doubt they make them publicly available. If you do get your hands on them, kindly pass them on, thanks!

I had a look around - Lecture notes for courses 312, 422, 470, 484, 491 and 493 are all accessible to the public. Looks really interesting so far!

Check the department website -> academic staff (http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/computing.../academicphoto). There you will find links to each lecturer's website.
