Ideas for redecorating my room! Creativity wanted!
Hi guys! I'm in need for some creative help!
I'm kind of sick of my room - its a bit makeshift at the moment and I can't stand it. The walls are pink and the carpet is navy blue - furniture is pine with pink doors to the wardrobes and stuff (I was 10 when I got it done -.-). Its also quite a small room
I'm willing to paint it and fix up the furniture, move stuff around etc but the main problem is I'm very tight on money and I don't know if I can afford things like new carpet or brand new furniture which will probably cost £300+
Any ideas on how to redesign my room on a budget? I want a full length mirror and bookshelf for all my stuff but the main issue is the colour scheme - the carpet and furniture are two issues I can't seem to strike a balance with and I'm sick of pink! Does anyone know of ways I can possible disguise my cupboards?
Thanks so much in advance!! Much appreciated! -
Re: Ideas for redecorating my room! Creativity wanted!I already have a huge chunk of my wall dedicated to cards I've hung up, my paintings, some pictures and other stuff.. but it won't cover the entire wall lol(Original post by Add!ction)
You could create a feature wall, this saves on wallpaper. -

Will be easier if you can show some pictures and also a floor plan.
Otherwise it will be difficult to recommend anything workable, would help if you could also show the lighting points, windows and door opening clearance, heating apparatus and power socket locations.
